A quick short video of my latest oil painting
This quick 10 second video shows the final stages of this oil painting. This location is from the Australian Outback, you may notice the deep orange sand or soil. I used glazes over several drying periods to get this subtle textured surface on the canvas. Discovering, Liquin Original certainly helped me achieve this effect.
I mix the medium in the paint directly to add more body. Adding Liquin gives it a creamy texture which make the paint easier to work with. A additional benefit of using Liquin is reducing dry time to around 24 hours.
